How to Get the Most Accurate Result

Several factors can affect how many clips you’ll need. Be sure to consider the following:

  • Project Dimensions
    Measure the full size of your tiling area, including any separate zones or unique layouts.

  • Tile Specifications
    Note the thickness and type of tile you’re using. Different materials can affect spacing.

  • Tile Pattern
    Whether you’re laying in a brick bond, herringbone, or straight pattern, your layout impacts the number of clips required.

  • Edges and Corners
    Special shapes or non-standard layouts may need extra clips or wedges to ensure a level finish.

Helpful Tip

Include a few extra clips in your order to allow for tile cuts, layout adjustments, or unexpected breakages. Having a small buffer ensures you’re not caught short during installation.
